The role: 

As a Forklift Driver with Tamex, you will be a key player in facilitating the safe movement and loading of our customers’ freight.  Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts and other equipment as required to efficiently move freight. You will need to demonstrate competency in operating a counterbalance forklift and hold a current forklift license. The role may also require additional duties to be performed at the discretion of your supervisor. Experience in an express transport environment and proven ability to load linehaul semi-trailers and B-doubles is desirable. Documenting load plans and working under pressure to meet critical deadlines are essential aspects of the role. A working knowledge of load restraint principles is desirable.
